Vista – AdMuncher ad blocker – Making it Work with UAC

I hate ads. I hate Flash ads. AdMuncher (www.admuncher.com) has some issues with Vista/UAC/whatever.

Symptoms – IE won’t display pages when Ad Muncher is running.

How to make it work: (assumes Ad Muncher loads at startup)

1. Install Live Messenger Beta 8.1

2. Login to Live Messenger

3. Then open IE and doe what you want. Works until you reboot.
