I\u2019ve been controlling them from the Insteon iPhone App, the web site at connect.insteon.com, and from a home made app I made myself. <\/p>\n<p>The app appeared a little while ago when I searched the Windows Store for Insteon. I immediately installed it. <\/p>\n<p>It failed right off the bat with an error \u201cGet hub information failed\u201d when I tried to use my existing credential (that work on the iPhone and on the web portal)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"insteon1\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"insteon1\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalmediaphile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/insteon1.png\" width=\"550\" height=\"447\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I tried from two computers and a tablet with the same bad results.<\/p>\n<p>Next, I decided to see what would happen if i tried to set up a new account. <\/p>\n<p>Not unexpectedly, I received \u201cregistered to another owner\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"insteon 2\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"insteon 2\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalmediaphile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/insteon2.png\" width=\"550\" height=\"345\" \/> <\/p>\n<p>Strangely, after trying and failing to set up a new user, I was able to log in with the existing&#160; credentials. I can turn lights on and off, but the Insteon Cameras have not displayed. The cursor just spins forever. It doesn\u2019t mater which screen I navigate to, same result. <\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"insteon 3\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"insteon 3\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalmediaphile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/insteon3.png\" width=\"550\" height=\"492\" \/> <\/p>\n<p>The quality of this long awaited app is disappointing to say the least.
