The error message was \u201cSign in with a different Microsoft Account\u201d as shown below. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"usediffacct\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 10px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"usediffacct\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalmediaphile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/usediffacct.png\" width=\"550\" height=\"397\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I tried 4 different computers that I had applied the updates to. And I tried about 10 different apps on each. Same issue. I tried a computer that had not been updated and had no issue at all using the same 10 apps accessing the Rate and Review screen. <\/p>\n<p>I asked on Twitter and a couple of people responded that they had no issues. <\/p>\n<p>After spending some time investigating, it seems that with the update to the Store in the May 13 release, there is a timing issue where (on a fast connection perhaps) the online bits can\u2019t communicate quickly enough with the local computer to determine whether or not the app is installed. Here\u2019s what I found.<\/p>\n<p>If I tapped or clicked Close in the screen above and immediately went back to Charms, Rate and Review to re-open the function, I might see for a very fleeting second that the app was available to install (huh?)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"brief\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 10px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"brief\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalmediaphile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/brief.png\" width=\"550\" height=\"273\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The above would immediately change to<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"is installed)\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 10px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"is installed)\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalmediaphile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/is-installed.png\" width=\"550\" height=\"272\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I could then drag the app on the left over the Store screen on the right and then go back to Charms, select Rate and Review and see what I expect to see the first time I selected Rate and Review.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"ok to review)\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 10px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"ok to review)\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalmediaphile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/ok-to-review.png\" width=\"550\" height=\"346\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Again, this is on multiple computers that were updated on Tuesday, May 13.
