Click on Local Policies<\/STRONG> then Security Options<\/STRONG><\/P>
\n

Navigate to
Network Security: LAN Manager authentication level
<\/STRONG>double-click to display Properties<\/STRONG>. <\/P>
\n

The default Windows Vista policy is NTVLM2 responses only<\/STRONG>.
Use the drop-down arrow to change this to <\/P>
\n

LM and NTLM \u2013 use NTLMV2 session security if negotiated<\/STRONG><\/P>
\n

For Vista Home Premium:<\/EM><\/STRONG><\/P>
\n

Open a cmd prompt<\/STRONG> “as administrator” and ack the prompt<\/P>
\n

Type regedit<\/STRONG> [enter]
Navigate to<\/P>
