You can\u2019t get close enough and keep your documents in focus. All you get is a blurry mess. <\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve tried using a macro lens designed for a smartphone with bad results. There have been some posts in Microsoft Communities about this, and lots of unhappy customers. Here\u2019s a solution.<\/p>\n<p>Your Surface Pro 3 needs glasses (or more correctly, a monocle).<\/p>\n<p>I started with $17 rimless reading glasses +2.50 strength from WalMart.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"start\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline\" border=\"0\" alt=\"start\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalmediaphile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/start.png\" width=\"505\" height=\"268\" \/>  <\/p>\n<p>Some snapping, twisting and bending to get to:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"monocle\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline\" border=\"0\" alt=\"monocle\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalmediaphile.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/monocle.png\" width=\"502\" height=\"491\" \/> <\/p>\n<p>I hope to refine the above a little, but it was quick and dirty. Microsoft, you should make an accessory and provide it free of charge to your SP3 customers.
